Reconciliation and Tracks to Treaty

  • Closing the Gap

Closing the Gap is a long-term framework that builds on the foundation of respect and unity provided by the 2008 National Apology to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

  • National Redress Scheme

Information for people who experienced child abuse in Queensland institutions.

  • Reconciliation Action Plan

The Reconciliation Action Plan demonstrates the Queensland Government commitment to building stronger relationships between Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and non-indigenous Queenslanders.

  • Tracks to Treaty

The Queensland Government has committed to a new way of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders. The Tracks to Treaty: Reframing the Relationship with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders initiative has been developed to give effect to this reframed relationship.
